Alice Cutler was born and raised in Louisville, KY. Her first play was “Six Characters in Search of an Author” at Actors Theatre of Louisville. She spent her childhood studying drama at Walden Theatre, where she performed in many plays ranging from Shakespeare to the Greeks to the Young Playwrights Festival. She was also involved with playwrighting, where a few of her plays were produced.

After graduating high school, Alice attended Vassar College, where she received a BA in drama. The day after her Vassar graduation, Alice moved to New York City, where she pursued theater. There, she coached with Robin Morse and later studied at the Atlantic Acting School. She was a member of the Workshop Theater Company and also appeared in many different play festivals in New York.

Alice has also traveled with productions. She did a children’s theater tour of “Beauty and the Beast” in the South. She also performed in “The Merry Wives of Windsor” at The Theater at Monmouth in Maine.

Alice later moved to Los Angeles to pursue film and television. She studied improv at The Groundlings and also took classes at Lesly Kahn & Company. She also wrote, produced, and starred in “Saving Rent,” a web series for which she won an award for best writing for a comedy series, currently online at She is currently in post production for “SHERO,” another web series which she wrote, produced, and starred in. Alice also performs stand-up all over Los Angeles and is a member of Theatre 40.
